Key wind, with Clockwork mechanism.
Original ears, a black stitched nose and tin eyes.
An Antique toy in played-with vintage condition consistent with age and wear.
Wool covers on feet and one hand are missing
He has not been restored.

Please Note:
He was working fine but I just double-checked and his mechanism seems to want to work but he does not now "somersault", so he needs someone handy with mechanics to work on him. Afraid to over-wind him, so not tried to force the key myself!

In 1994 the Tetbury Teddy Bear Museum in the Cotswolds, England, closed and John bought many of the wonderful teddy bears and props.
