The doll mold 1160 is known as a Little Woman doll.
Head incised S & H, 1160.
Bisque shoulder head.
Made in Germany in the early 1900's.
12 inches tall, with lovely facial coloring.

Little Woman doll. Simon and Halbig 1160 German antique doll:
Bisque shoulder head with a delicate oval face. Chocolate brown eyes with painted upper and lower lashes, brown eyebrows, softly blushed cheeks, closed mouth. Her chestnut-brown upswept Gibson Girl style mohair wig has loose curls down the back. Bisque lower arms and legs, joined to a cloth body, brown painted shoes.
Her adorable antique costume :
Ecru lace edged ruched bonnet decorated with cream and pale pink ribbon rosettes, tied under her chin with baby blue ribbon, a long sleeved ecru dress with lace edged cuffs. It has a lace yoke, with ribbon trimming and two tiny pink roses, full-length ecru lace overlay from the waist, lace trimmed under garments - slip and pantaloons. There is a small tear in the lace at the hemline at the back of her lace over-dress and some small age-appropriate marks on her outfit, mostly on her undergarments - back of the underslip and one pantaloon hemline has a stain I have not attempted to wash off.
