A charming Folk Art Vintage Carousel for display.
Handcrafted metal and wood of unknown age.
It measures 9 by 8 inches approx.
Handcrafted of black and yellow metal with tiny golden balls decorating the ends.
8 little wooden cats, elephants and ducks, some decorated with red bows and golden balls, hang on the top part, dangling from long wire loops.
The carousel top spins around on a removeable yellow metal base.
Overall good Vintage condition.
Metal parts have aged scratches and scrapes (see photographs). Most of the animals have facial features, with one of the cats having a blank face ready to be decorated. Click on all the links below for BIG close-up color photographs:
