English Museum Collection Early Antique Standing Panda Bear on all fours.
Black and cream mohair. Approx. 9 inches long and 5 inches high. Excelsior filled. Amber eyes, black stitched nose and mouth
This Antique Panda bear has not been restored by us and is in the Original Vintage condition it was in, as displayed in the Museum. Any Restoration and repairs were done by the Museum and this is how he was purchased in 1994.
A nice old Panda, in vintage condition with age appropriate wear, including small bare patches on his back, top of head and signs of repair and stitching of his back left leg with a thread showing. (See close-ups of condition.)Comes with a Museum Exhibit Card.
In 1994 the Tetbury Teddy Bear Museum in the Cotswolds, England, closed and John McBride bought many of the wonderful teddy bears and props. A huge collection of antique and vintage teddy bears, toys and teddy bear-related books.
