Circa 1930s 17 inch over-loved gold mohair British Teddy Bear. Emily is jointed, with Original rexine pawpads. She comes wearing an Antique English silk baby's Christening gown.
She wears an enamel EMILY name pin in one ear, and is wearing an exquisite Antique either Victorian or Edwardian English silk baby's Christening dress, with short sleeves, is lace-trimmed. It is fragile but all original, in good Vintage condition, with only a few tiny holes and some small marks. Approx. 35 inches long, it has beautiful layers of lace.Emily is very old and is just about bald. She has hardly any mohair left at all, so please see the large, close-up photographs of her condition details. Any Restoration and repairs were done by the Museum and this is how she was purchased in 1994. (see detailed condition close-up photos).
Emily comes with her Museum Exhibit Card (scroll down for photo below).
