THE WHITE RABBIT 1981

11 inch GIRL White Rabbit doll created in 1981 by Dollsville Dolls Owner, Cheryl McBride, for an Alice In Wonderland display.

From the Owner's personal collection (downsizing as retiring).
Her bisque head was created from an antique mold, Mein Liebling, K Star R, Simon Halbig 117 (Kammer and Reinhardt, Simon and Halbig). She has a 5 piece low-fire ceramic body underneath the furry bunny costume was not intended to be removeable. Beautiful blue German blown-glass eyes, upper and lower painted eyelashes, feathered eyebrows, a long blonde French human hair wig with loose curls. Incised in the porcelain on the back of her head with Cheryl McBride's initials and date, 1981, in a heart. Also on the back of the head, incised with the mold K Star R, Simon Halbig 117 known as "Mein Liebling" (My Darling).

The Dollsville dressmaker lady created a White Rabbit furry cream plush all-in-one costume for her with bunny ears lined in pink satin. The hood itself can be removed so her long, wavy hair can be brushed or styled. It is secured under the chin with a single snap. The outfit is tagged with a label: Handmade for "Dollsville", Palm Springs, attached to the back of the suit at the neckline.
