A RARE Merrythought Store Display Sign from England.
It is very solid and heavy, with the Original sturdy hanger at the back (see close-up photo), ready for you to hang.
This was from Dollsville Dolls and Bearsville Bears Palm Springs Store inventory. It was displayed from the 80s with the Merrythought bears display until I sold the Palm Springs, California store in 2016 and retired to Lake Arrowhead.
An All Original, never repainted or touched up, Approved Retailer sign.
In overall good Vintage condition.
In the shape of a shield with very nice, colorful graphics.
The name MERRYTHOUGHT is in red lettering across the center of the sign.
Their famous Wishbone is pictured under that, in white.
Two adorable brown Merrythought teddy bears are seated in the center, holding a globe with their paws.
Under the bears in capital letters it says, in red lettering, "INTERNATIONAL COLLECTORS CLUB".
A banner at the bottom says "Approved Retailer".
