In 1994 the Tetbury Teddy Bear Museum in the Cotswolds, England, closed and John bought many of the wonderful teddy bears and props A huge collection of antique and vintage teddy bears, toys and teddy bear-related books.This is a large, 28 inch, rare excellent condition antique Merrythought English gold mohair teddy bear Circa 1940s (according to the museum), wearing an authentic child's Scottish Kilt Outfit.

Gold mohair. Size 28 inch. Glass eyes. Excellent condition. Very rare size. Wearing authentic child's Scottish Kilt Outfit complete with a magnificent all-original sporran.
Inside outfit is original tag with Name of manufacturer of Scottish costume. Made in Scotland label stitched inside the outfit.
