Little Woman doll. Simon and Halbig 1160 German antique doll:
Bisque shoulder head lady doll with a delicate oval face. Blue eyes with painted upper and lower lashes, brown eyebrows, rosy blushed cheeks, closed mouth. Her ears are pierced ready for earrings (see side-view close-up photo).. Warm chestnut-brown colored upswept hairdo has coiled braids wound around her head (see head close-up photo). Bisque lower arms and painted composition legs, joined to a cloth body, black painted shoes.
Her antique costume :
Caramel top with elbow-length sleeves has a scoop neckine to show her jet black bead necklet with a pearl drop. Matching jet black bead bracelet on her right wrist, fingernails painted gold. At the back, a type of layered bustle is stitched on and needs a couple of stitches to secure it down flat. The full length skirt is of golden-caramel brocade and her painted black shoes peek out from under the hemline. All are shown very clearly in the enlarged close-up pictures.
